Hi Melissa, may I know if the admission decisions will be made on a rolling basis? Will there be any disadvantages if I submit my application after the fee waiver deadline (i.e. Dec 1)?

With regards to the personal statement, the word limits on the website are listed as 500-1,000. However, in a previous webinar, I heard it was advisable to not exceed 1,500 words. Are the word limits strict?

Hi Melissa, I'd like to ask about applying as a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer under the Coverdell Fellowship. Do you have more information on that, as a part of the application process, as well as the scholarship consideration? I'd also like to know how many RPCV's there typically are in each class, if any? Thanks.

Follow up on MAS candidates: I see that the current MAS students both have extensive military backgrounds. I understand that MAS candidates typically possess a variety of experiences. Could you talk in greater detail about what that experience looks like?

hi Melissa! this is more of a philosophical question, but can you speak to what the admissions committee looks for in terms of well-defined career goals? I think what I'm asking is, the MBA/MD/JD are obviously pre-professional degrees that tend to have more defined career pathways. for the Jackson MA, is the expectation that applicants be able to speak specifically about future career goals?
Lauren Perkins

During my undergraduate career I did not take macro or microeconomics. I am in the process of taking those courses through edX like the website suggests, but how should I document that on my application?
