I can hear you :)
You just and I have the window wins, though, if you hear any if there's any bug noises that are too loud. Let me know that, well but I'm looking forward to chatting with you all OK. We have more people poop in so probably get started first were there's not going to be a whole lot new but we're going to do a shell point degree with our late for November, but otherwise this will be sort of the usual.
Overview and talk a little bit about what makes just unique and by the way I think I I didn't say that I most McGinnis me assistant director of admissions, so if you're interested in you are in the right even though I'm in the middle of Egypt, though I am looking forward to talking to you, but again if anybody's been on me for you might wanna do nugget out of this.
Maybe a little bit of information at work, a lot of times the questions can be a little different amounts one for me, too, because everybody has a pre questions. Please feel free to questions as we go or leave until later. But I'll probably do is just give a brief overview of things that make Jackson unique and then I like to do that pretty quickly and leave time for questions helps a lot more information and.
Really what it is, you want to know and when you're here, so but first I always like to do a shout out. I love doing these the world is is so small these date with technology and not everybody might have gotten on yet, but I looked at the list of people register representing 12.
California Oklahoma in about countries gonna Columbia, Korea and those who are in pan.
Please note I don't know if you notice that we're actually going to be at the epsie events in so I think I think I want to make sure that most of you probably have spent on the the link to our events. If you're on the web and R mean you found out for different groups. But I'm going to send the link to our events paid.

If you have an opportunity, either to get us in person for one visit days and paste.
Are living in or visiting Asia and convince them OK? So let me sort of get here first I like I mentioned. I wanna tell a little bit unique and I think for for one if I would say it's are size were very, very small program. RM angry in global affairs or MasterCard publicly.
Program, which is our traditional to your program is usually about 30 primarily talk about. That program if any of you or on this web nor who are interested in MAF Master Advanced Studies and gold. That's our mid program, which requires at minimum of scepters of relevant, the overview of that is very simple to one year 100% customizable.
Currently, no financial aid off MAS Mid Hill treated ping me later.
If you have additional questions about that later that things work within that context, but otherwise when I'm talking about most of these things it does it is more relevant to the MA program our tour.
Historicize the cohort very small and we're also so unique in that even though we're very small you had access.
Or all of it, so that's one attest to not just the smallness location as well.
Jackson itself was located on this beautiful tree lined St Palm trees. Like we have here beautiful tree line and it is the city with more manageable city and then I've seen enough.
Work spoke at been very pleasant surprise, no, I really.
Even though we're in this quiet part of campus. You actually have access mobile and I'll talk a little bit about that. One comes to the limit have the freedom to take any classes at Yale and obviously participate in all of his research.
Advance and anything else that might be going on.
And doing more familiar with where New Haven, CT is we're in a really spot right on the NE Corridor, which is.
Great I I get into DC a lot.
Amtrak C and work not far from New York City to the really convenient location and that's been really nice.
That's sort of a little bit about our size, a little bit of our location. You want to have her connected most during the demo important aspect. We currently have only 3 required an E con glass in the history class. Those 3 classes 1st. We listened to you and they had.
Asked if we could goes up into the second Mister because they want it. To actually stay back to the code work there. Jackson coat work and so we've been doing that, you take to do the first one, the 3rd semester and you take them together with all of your students and that really helps build community and even though I have that flexibility to take schools at any of the other professional schools at Yale.
It's my understanding in my experience that students still stay very connected to their Jackson Cohort and they're always around we offered joint.
Ground and even when those students aren't resident at Jackson. We find them still hanging out in Horsham Hall, which is our building and hang out in the lounge and grabbing a coffee and stuff, so it's a very that's pretty exciting, but that academic freedom also allows you to have networks outside of Jackson, so if you're taking a class management for example.
You'll have a network there through that faculty member for your classmates. The law school. The School of public health, school forestry.
So you have a lot of Christians to to network when you're at Jackson. So yeah, so it's very able to take only 3 and then the rest of your classes, however you would like it really is.

Because this is going to be a Chrysler to be potentially overwhelming because of the vast resource.
So, there, you have that ink uhm if you go on to the course page.
And certainly LBL but you have access to any is at Yale and keyword search. Ticular interest area studies or regions. You might find that very you're trying to plan what it is, you want to do.
I wanna die little bit in relation to that. You may have no rest. Are you know now that a lot of most of our spirit 5 years experience prior to coming to Jackson.
Your couple reasons for that primarily this we are professional program and.
The terminal degree we go out and do.
Google bear to international affairs and around and go out and at that. You want might not. Get your dream job out path and on that trajectory to where you want to go.
This is in the terms that we definitely look for work experience part of that also 'cause of the flexibility in the availability to take.
Thousands of classes, it can be. It is very, very helpful for you know what it is you want to do.
Tired coming you don't have to worry because we actually that who with you 1 on one as soon as you were, and sit with you and talk to you about your course selection help you navigate all of the resources available at our website does have matrices example examples of the kind classes that.
Ache together but if you define those that I don't think I have a link readily available for those but if you do, find them even mind. They are just stupid. You are not hide to anything you really can build their own curriculum and build your own. I I don't see certificate even if you know something that looks like a certificate. You don't let the certificates will just a Masters will both there.
But you really can't build whatever it is, you do so hope that weekend professional, fearing and Simulation, the flexibility of Brooklyn. You don't have to know exactly what you want to do. But we're looking for from admissions process that people have a general idea and then.
When you're applying want you to explain how you now need an interdisciplinary program such as Jack to go on and continue on that.
Directory those are important components that help make let me take a quick break if there are any questions about any of that, if there are any questions. I hope you all are still there and still stay otherwise. I'll talk a little bit more about requirements language in internship.
And funding approval affected crude things that I wanna make sure I get have any academic or question. Feel free to pop them in.
OK, no questions and left there are delayed.

07:15:39 PM
how do student normally communicate their specialization after their degree
Actually, I might need glasses. Other questions alright William? How do students normally communicate their split specialization after degree for good questions? I have asked students in alarm at?
And for your services that question and nobody seems to be concerned about it.
You know right now is the Master of Arts and some people are concerned like Oh, they want him policy or something like that. You know, I actually total time note. I completely left out are spread around enough for that came out April. Jackson has been approved to become the next professionals in Graduate School programs G fast equality.
With the approval to become professional school will be independent from Graduate School, so will be on par with the Graduate School. The last hold of the assumption that if it was a school and will launch sometime around between now and 2022 is what we looked out.
And the reason like I bring it up one, I should have it went to is in light of the question that you asked is.
With that you're talking to a very high level right now discussing whether not we wanted and agree that even in those conversations. It's really not so much nomenclature of free but it's about what you what you get out of the screen, which taken kind of so I think you've seen some resumes and I think a lot of people really.
I'm assuming you're thinking about your resume and how you that way. You can talk about all of the details that you need but I think a lot of people do put a specialization because it's not a transcript, unofficial certificate doesn't mean you didn't specialize in a particular area. You are I think a lot of people do that focus.
China Africa relations, something development in area. I think that's what most people do I rambled a little bit.
Will Godfrey
07:18:15 PM
ok, thank you
OK, good, it sounds like I did, though alright great still let me what did I forget I wanted.
Do you have a language requirement at jacks?
That needs to be completed before graduation snow? What happens if you're a non native.
English is not your native image, then chances are you're going to place out language requirement that out of the language requirement. Otherwise, you would do a language like have experience in that out. You don't have to take it in language. Otherwise, you would have to take languages during your time that you helped and complete the sort of an intermediate.
Proficiency with Corvette.
It's not a problem do their own of classes language classes available. You can use the forces that you already checked out. You can also take another language because that might be your area that might be part of your academic and to take language or do totally fine. I think there's a limit how many you can take is your electric don't want you to quote me on this.
For total in the course years. Anybody has wants live. Let me know find out but I.
Language classes are very intensive incomplete. It was simple extracurricular fashion graduate to speak language classes or daily. Originally taught at the language lab, so just keep that in mind, but yell is an amazing languages.
Any other requirement size, the 3 core language requirement and the only other requirement that is the required summer internship out this summer experience in your 2nd and the 12 weeks. Most people choose internationally or in.
I do like their long-term career goals are some people did not in the field for awhile and another huge the summer experience to do something completely different. The pigment in opportune. I'll send you a link on that later when we talk a little bit about careers as Pampa at and more acceptable one-on-one to help by those up again in Azure Rife let.
The let me transition to talk about a little bit of resources so Jackson has its own self point, Mants with other Department people management History Department.
And there, there all over and again.
Very from the program, we're excited about prospects.
Aspect definite, but when we do become a school.
Implies influx of and growing not anticipating crawling to body. We didn't want to keep it very small and intimate that store. Macon something about what we like about the program. But we do hope that we can grow.
The Senior Phelips our practice pretty high level in career.

Videos medical doctors World Bank.
IMF directores aim at their their amazing interesting and unique thing it worked at another institution for over 20 years.
I'm pretty new to jacks actually Leslie here about another and it's so far and and one things in general that I love to tell people.
Whatever it is, you're looking out there really no Top schools Top tier schools going to all of these kinds of faculty and practitioners.
Something that I found that is really pretty special is there around interested there available and want to be allowed want to get to know you run into them.
And maybe pop into the Student Lounge. There they want to be involved. So I might be a little harder to reach Klingon where they are. Maybe there may be some you have to work, a little bit harder to connect once you connect with them. There really air and available and they're giving lectures and talk, they usually need.
Horse assistant research assistant.
That's an opportunity to get it paid position to work with that.
Work with them, the hum relationship heard stories were students end up being TA with company.
An an extensible is something that's just.
But it's been great and world fellow and that link actually grow fellows as well.
Define Grace, it's very unique Aaron Hill Jackson.
World fellow is a program those those are people were are applying them help to get admitted exposure program with 16 students for the fall semester and there should be rising in more prayers and they'll come and they might be in class is really taking advantage of eels.
There also there as a resource 2 hour record and I think your undergrad as well. 'cause it doesn't have a global affairs be so students and working with them as a demand channel simulated and helping their own mentoring talks. Their own color in all things that they do have a false busy on it follows loud.
Right across your computer and that part of that is really encouraged correction. I know there's a lot of of the fall semester and I think.
Published in your prayers and Nigerian news.
Anna terrian rights in there and I mean in it's just mind blowing people that we have all of those that are faculty appointment hour.
Your fellow whole Fellows.
Asset to you that access to and they're there for you, just like we did. And it again inches. My moving to know that there and the things huge part of your education. So it's not just that, but it's about you get out of all of the extra activities as well.
Um questions come out before I talk about funding and careers.
Most important things that you want to know about my.
I will quite another drink.
Warm out here and in new Cairo.
I have the window open so.
How we doing on time alright we're about halfway through?
Let me the questions at the moment I will talk that are sort of final things a little bit and then feel free to pop questions that you might.
Uh first let me die by funding because that's a huge, huge cost seem insurmountable. I need how much funding.
Merit based funding and I would say.
That uhm starting abstracted thing of what they really can't read. But yes, so we offer merit based funding and the really nice thing is that?
Everyone who asks for it. Some sort of putting an well it's merit based. We do have tears in the bullet here. Currently is mission. So I was only intuition, but have tuition is 2, plus dollars. So if you need financial aid. All you do is check the box on the application that says, I mentioned in the in from Jackson. Even mind while we're still part of the driver.
All it is from Jackson, but Graduate School.
So we do it, Jackson so you check that box.
An you while I could talk a little bit about profile.
Some of you might have seen our staff resolve kinds of things that we look.
I would prefer to full but for non English otherwise there are no fun among required Indians and providing.
Here, a financial keeping in mind split the funding address.
I didn't ask for it and we provide something everybody, so that's something that's really each. No one other. Display replaces this came up a lot this year in the chutes invalid class.
People were comparing that it isn't seeming that well. You only offered me this much and they offered me this much so can you match? What they offer?
Something to keep in mind is flipping and I know that'll be.
Not great if you're not areas or to know what cost of living is in certain areas, but do keep in mind that cost of living very, very even Connecticut.
Will be a lot more inexpensive living in California, Washington, so you have to keep those things in my general admission.
Advice on how to compare.

I'll be at Yale for the Fall Visit Day on Oct 14. Will I get an agenda? I received a confirmation email advising that it starts at 9AM but no additional information.
Alright so that's funding you can ask me questions about that. I see a couple questions to a couple of those thank you. Overall was asking about a jet that? Yeah.
Automated that believe it's like 70 hours, so few names will get an agenda. But I can explain who is coming, too or is interested in one of the days are very informal so start.
A rule so yeah, I think I will have breakfast with his earliest 30. We have practice available. I have a few staff available at opening.
A little time back for you hard.
And we will give you a break. I'm a brief overview. We do not really at this point, you like to be around the staff.
What we have a campus tour to those of our campus innocent or camp new registered so there might not need to do that. But then we probably would be able to visit came randomly now and again, but because of the volume of people we might have on a visit day week.
You have to have sign up for 8:30 but the earlier you come you sign up for classes.
Again, those will be after the campus tour and then we have lunch and once with current students and usually go around himself.
But again, it's pretty informal spelt mingling and talk with the current students and even though there probably expected really are very genuinely interested in giving you the information you need.
And again that's pretty much it. Then again, the afternoon or time slots talked myself, even student affairs or per service with the visit day and I hope that helps everybody registered within a few days get the schedule.
Raul Solis
07:35:44 PM
Do you know how many others will be there that day?
Another question about how many other there's like 20. Some odd registered about average. I can't check at the moment because that would cancel it Lebanon.
My experience is about half the drop off if I don't understand why you know, people RSVP and don't company that the nature of things. These days and I think we make it too easy to for people to register.
So I don't know exactly how many people will be here that day.
Tyriq Jackson
07:36:24 PM
What's the best way for students of color to get noticed by the institution? I attended an hbcu and I have been working for the past few years trying to garner the experience necessary for the Jackson Institute
How many would never see?
Drink is asking a good question about the.
Mister Christians are coded notice each we see you.
I know being an admissions Ann wearing aware and sensitive trainers for over.
Who plus years now and very familiar with network?
Wrangells the Pickerings and very focused on its always on our radar and for us whole lot more political.
Home of origin and region of area of interest.
Hello still so many different things. Well, we asked Jackson is take a very holistic approach.
And we could talk hours out how how all of that works, but we're very aware of the various.
Resources and maybe even challenges that will have.
It's it's definitely on our radar being such a small program in a very highly related program. Statistically, some might look at our Pensacola Tistic. Lower spectrum and for us.
It's unfortunate, you know, we are about 50% international ZAP. Skews things a little bit, but I wanna make sure you know anybody out there knows that.
There's no reason for that is just the nature of very, very reprogram the international but we consider all backgrounds and I think we didn't.
Mentioned this before, and I want to make friend Kurt Office to what the program professional program in part of that is also I think I left out, but it's not just about what you need to learn from us courses. You need to take to get career, but also what you bring to the table.
So you will hear students and faculty himself, said you probably get more out of each other and you even do incoming faculty and so from an admissions perspective we take that very, very.
Instead of building that class, and we're looking at people coming in all different backgrounds. And when we admit about 50 students together yields. We're looking for those 50 students to come from all different backgrounds. So it's not easy. It's a challenge and it's hard when you might have a couple 100 applicants who you could just.
Admit without any questions all have amazing experiences and fully academic her, but we can only take about 50. So when we look at that. It comes down to the nitty gritty and so this kind of goes back a little bit to tyriq your question about you know how you stand out. Everybody stands out in their own unique way so whether you are a person of color whether you are.
From a unique region that is under represented or you know, whatever the case. Maybe maybe your area of interest in your careers is very different and something we haven't had before or something that's really up-and-coming those things are very important when we're pulling the whole class together. I think there's a great quote in our new view book.
That says it was a current student, saying where can you find an investment banker sitting next to a pacifist military officer and I think that's that and be close and friends and work together and communicate with each other and solve problems together and do extracurricular activities together so I hope that's probably 2 philosophical an answer, but I hope it helps.

OK, OK, good thank you. Everybody I got concerned 'cause I couldn't hear myself just wanted to make sure wasn't talking only to myself, but again, I reiterate this whole recording should be available, so another question follow-up question from one of my visitors for the visit day in October. Yes, you have access to the Yale shuttle when you're there, depending on how how to get into Yale and Jackson is super easy.
If you're coming on a train. This is for everybody, not just a role. But if you're coming in on a train you can easily take Metro N from Grand Central.
Otherwise, there's Amtrak on Penn Station driving is pretty easy. Parking is not great. Mississippi so it's not great. You can actually if you are if you have a credit card the meters on Hill House Ave, which mind you has been called one of the most beautiful streets in America Hill House Ave, which is where foreshadow Hall is has meters. I've always managed to find one, especially in the morning if you're coming early that.
Only tricky part is they are 5 hours, so you might have to move or something like that. There are public parking available and again in the?
Tyriq Jackson
07:44:44 PM
I will be attending Fall visit day as well! Will we at some point have opportunity to meet with you individually?
In the confirmation that comes out about 72 hours before you come. I think we have links to some of the parking lots. So I hope that helps him you have another question Oh good. Tyreek will be at the visit day as well. Well, I'm very excited to hear about how many of you are coming into visit day and now I feel less guilty that we don't do a big formal information session at the visit day. 'cause basically this is what we would talk about everything that I've talked about so far is what we would talk about it in general information.
Session so you can this is great to those of you who are coming on October. There's one more in November. If any of you are available to have this session in mind. And when you go into the program. Talk to the career services director, the student affairs director or or the students or the faculty in the class. So hopefully, they everybody will corroborate what I'm saying.
And forgive me, I'm sort of jet lagged and did not feeling great after to the pyramids. On Monday, so forgive me. If I've been a little rambly, but yes, you will have an opportunity to sign up to meet with me or to uh shows my boss. The director missions. We should have time to meet with you, I may do sign up, so I may just say come on by depends on how many end up coming but yes.
We'd be happy to meet with you like I mentioned before we keep the day pretty open for that purpose.
Alright I think I've talked about everything but sort of the karere stuff. I don't see any questions right now. We have not quite 15 minutes, so let me really quickly, touch on careers this link. Let me give this to you so you have it most of you are probably web savvy, but don't always love. Where to find stuff on our website.
Melissa McGinnis
07:46:43 PM
https://jackson.yale.edu/beyond-jackson/
So here is going to be some stuff for career things and one thing to keep in mind. I'll keep an eye a questions because I want to make sure that you have all your questions answered. But while I wait for more to come in. Let me touch quickly on careers so.
We are Yale Jackson is a member of axiom be Association of professional schools of international affairs. Epsie.org is their website were actually a founding member of absea over 40 years ago.
And so you know keep that in mind, absolutely is a great resource. We do a lot of events with them. That's who we're going to Asia with.
So the reason I mentioned that is one of the I don't know if it's a requirement. It might be requirement for Apsia Schools is to have a dedicated career services office or officer just for their IR program so.
If you are a student at Yale. You have access to all of Yale's crush career services. But Jackson, has its own career services office in 3rd changing it to career development office. I think they're changing the name soon but.
Basically, we have a dedicated staff who work with you again as soon as you arrive. They'll start doing intakes and they will figure out help you figure out what you want to do with your summer internship and what you want to do after graduation, and sort of help walk you through that. They provide resources weekly newsletters. They do a lot of networking events. They have them regularly in DC where actually everybody gets on a Boston goes down and they have employers in a lump.
And they do that in New York as well as needed. Not every year is not everybody wants the New York connections. When I think this year's class was saying. Hey can, we move the UN and have alumni bear and so that happens and I believe they do them in London, one disclaimer 2 is a lot of people hanging this last years admitted class remember people thinking well. I'm not sure you know, there's enough of an alumni network. Jacks it is so new.
Nolan I saw very large you know 'cause we are a small cohort.
I would say that's not true because you have to remember Jackson in name is new, so we got the generous gift about 10 years ago from John and Susan Jackson to be called Jackson because they wanted to create an international public affairs program at Yale. But we were already the IR program at Yale and again around for 40 plus years.
And we have Jackson's adopted the IR network from his origins, so we have all of those alumni as part of our network network and also keep in mind. You have access to all of Yale's alumni network. Once you become a student as well. So the networking the resources and they'll do things like MBTI and resume workshops and all sorts of things and they do karere interviews and bring in employers so.
If you want something just ask and they may be able to make it happen.
Teena Abraham
07:50:26 PM
i had a question about the joint degree program. Can we apply later (after admission into Jackson) if not at the beginning of application process ?
That's my brief overview on curse services need my glasses. I seems more questions come in and we only have 10 minutes. Tina asking about the joint degree program really, really, really quickly couple things.
You apply the joint degree completely separately, so you have to do the admissions for both most people apply at the same time defer the other program started Jackson. We don't we at Jackson currently don't do defers which is why you would have to start at the other program.
Also, there are people who apply to both and may may not get into one of the other.
And you do have the option to reapply.
But then it becomes your decision right if you get into Jackson and not the law school for example, do you come to Jackson and reapply to the law school hoping you get in just because your current student doesn't guarantee you'll get in.
Um so those are decisions have to make but please keep in mind.
You do need to justify the joint degree and don't forget.
You can take classes at those schools, even if you aren't a joint degree so that's a very, very brief explanation. Hopefully anybody interested in joint degrees can attend Ashes web and R in November. I can't remember the date off my head you'll know it. If you check that events link. She'll have more details about that or you can email and myself for the Jackson dot admissions email, she might get lost in my email so I'm on the road traveling just.
Email us and we can get some of those answers for you, but it's a very brief overview and hopefully you can if you can't watch the web and R. It will eventually be on our web page. So you could always watch. It later if you can't do that. I hope that answers your question Tina recommendation letters. Yes, we didn't talk about admissions stuff, so anything prevent versus reference.

Thanks, Melissa. On the subject of recommendation letters, are you aware of anything that would prevent a prof. rec letter vs. a "reference.?"
Fest so I don't know if I'm understanding this question exactly but we were looking at recommendations. We are looking for at least 1 professional and one academic and the 3rd really is. What's best for your particular situation. Whether it's what you're stronger and or weaker hand like if your grades are poor. Maybe you should get your a second academic reference. It's really going to depend.
That's something to keep in mind, even with having a considerable work experience. We do want an academic letter as well, but do also keep in mind that we want more than just a professor to say, Oh, I remember him. He got an A. In my class. That's not a helpful letter. So to those of you who are maybe still an undergrad and not going to apply for a couple years keep in touch with those professors have them be more than just a professor. Maybe they can be a mentor type relationship and there's somebody who can keep in touch with.

Hoe does you/ the institution view careers worked while in college. For instance, I started as an intern for the government district attorney then was hired on as staff shortly after officially finishing undergrad.
Who knows your commitment to global affairs in the global good and why you want to do a career in that and why you would need us as part of that, so that that that would be my very general advice about recommendations or we have 7 minutes left. Let's see how the institution. View careers work on college interns. Government very good question. Teryx so this is a common question for people who are usually wanting to apply right from undergrad.
And yes, internships play a very important role whether they're in the summer during your academic career, but keep in mind. Those will play an important role even if you have 10 years out. So we really look at everything Holistic Lee. But for those with less work experience, they will wait much, much more heavily. We I would never tell somebody not to apply but those people with O2.
One or 2 years of work experience have a little bit of a harder. Hill to climb when they're applying just just a little bit more work experience makes you a little bit more competitive. So it's not that we wouldn't admit you and I think I threw out things like Rangles and pickerings lot of those fellowships require you to come right from undergrad so.
We know that in their sort of on the fast track to foreign service, which is right up with the mission of the Jackson Institute so.
It's just a Turkey spot to be in, but absolutely internships. In summer experience will play into everyone's applications because think about your application in that it should all come together and it should all sort of make sense in line with your trajectory. Some people end up doing things and they realize that they?
They wanted nothing to do with that and they learn from that experience and tell us that we're going to look at you know why you've done things and we want to hear how you draw the lines between getting to that dream job in international relations and how Jackson fits into that don't forget to tell us all of that in your personal statement.

Thanks Melissa, will do!
And let's see and and follow up on that, too, is that asking for experience has the same value. Yes yes and yes. Everything obviously or we wouldn't require it because we're a professional program work experience plays a huge role. We see work experience is evidence of commitment to global affairs so that's that's huge.
But it can think of your application as we have these last 4 minutes left. Think of your application as as I like to call it a portfolio and think about how it balances out your strengths and weaknesses one one example is.
You know for better or worse. We still require the Jerry and that some schools are going Jerry Optional. We are not yet so for now, I have to think the jury so if somebody.
Does terrable on the quant section of the Jerry if we look at their quant related grades on their transcript?
And those are great that may balance out a poor Jerry if you have a pork want Jerian like all season calculus. A Nikon and algebra or whatever. You've taken those 2 things combined are kind of a red flag. But at the same time, maybe you worked in a job where you were dealing with numbers and you were dealing with.
Economist type things sorry for the over Generalization. Maybe that's where you get your supervisor? Who knows what you did, and that you can handle the quant stuff that that recommender can tell us. Hey, I know that he blew is Jerry's but he's really going to handle the quote fine. That's just one example may not be the exact example. You were thinking. But that's one example of of how to?
Balance your application and how to use all of the components to tell us your story and there's always an opportunity for additional information. So there's some documents. I wouldn't waste your personal statement to point to your weaknesses necessarily but keep in mind. If there are weaknesses were probably going to find them or a committee of a number of different people faculty administrators admissions staff and where were all.

Thank you so much! You were amazing!
Combing the applications and so we're going to find things and so, if there's something of concern. Feel free to Jaden. Additional memo and say, Hey, I know that that you know, maybe I'm pivoting and I did. This job and it doesn't seem to make sense with why I want to go to Jackson and do this career. But here's why it makes sense in the long term in my long term goals. Again, I'm deeply philosophical about some of this stuff and I hope that helps.

Hope to meet you soon!
And we have, I think probably less than a minute. If we even have a minute or Mike cutoff any last minute questions before we disappear and I say goodbye.
I'll be doing another one of these in November. I'll be back in the states. I think when I do that. One and again. There's a joint degree one in early November. Again, I should be doing that I'll be somewhere in Asia at that time.
Um check out some of the absolute best practices webinars. You'll get the link to the archive of some of these but it's embarrassing to watch myself so don't feel like you need to Rewatch. These their properties. Similar many different questions. But I think that's it. I'm probably forgotten something I think I sent you all these links.
I depending on where you are it might be the middle of the day. It's night here, so I might sign offen.
And say, Goodnight, but any last minute questions.
I don't see any so unless there's a Wi-Fi delay.
On those it's 8:00 o'clock PM here, so I think I better stay good bites. For we get cutoff alright. Thank you for your patience. I'm glad there were no technical issues. I hope the night. Peepers and the Egyptian background sounds didn't bother you, but I was thrilled to do this from here just to show that Jackson is everywhere and we hope to come find you and.
That you find us and I hope to see your application if not this year or the next couple of years and there's exciting things happening at Jackson and we hope that you could be a part of it alright.
